After Lounge
Located next to Ever, After Lounge is home to great cocktails and fare. It is helmed by Michelin-star chef Curtis Duffy, who infuses his expertise into every menu item.
You can select from an array of small plates, like Vietnamese duck wings, larger platters, and fine caviars. There's also a late night menu for those who enjoy Chicago's nightlife.
Alice's Lounge
At Alice's Lounge in Avondale, you can shed your inhibitions. It offers karaoke five nights a week, and the dive bar's vibrant energy helps keep the night going.
Avec
Avec has been serving top-tier Mediterranean cuisine in Chicago for over 20 years. Besides its meaty rendition of hummus, the spot also serves an array of other plates.
Other popular menu items include pan-fried calamari, fava bean tartine, and whole roasted fish, which it serves at both of its locations in West Loop and River North.
Beck's Chicago
While the characters of "The Bear" weren't actually seen entering Beck's, fans of the sports bar may recognize its iconic neon sign featured in Season 2 Episode 7.
The bar is a great spot to catch a sports game and dig into a plate of mini sliders, sweet chili sauce-topped broccoli and cauliflower, and its famous wings.
Ceres
Ceres Cafe serves a ton of bar snacks and stiff pours, with martinis and old fashioneds worthy of ordering. It still has the statue that a character on the show refers to.
