Aldi's Chocolate Products Are Actually Imported From Europe
By KATHERINE BECK
You might not expect a bargain retailer like Aldi to offer fancy European chocolate, but most of their in-house chocolate products are imported from top chocolate-making countries.
Chocolate bars sold at Aldi under the names Choceur, Moser Roth, and Schogetteni come in milk chocolate, hazelnut crunch, rich dark, and white chocolate, among others.
Primarily made in Germany, Belgium, and Austria, the European chocolates at Aldi possess a rich texture and superior flavor, and they melt well, which is an indication of quality.
Beyond whole chocolate bars, Aldi also offers individually wrapped chocolates, chocolate-covered berries, peanut butter cups, and seasonal products to satisfy all sweet tooths.
