A Splash Of Lemon Juice Is The Secret To Better Iced Coffee
BY NIKITA EPHANOV
A terrific flavoring candidate for iced coffee is lemon. All it takes is a squeeze of lemon juice and some sweetener, all mixed with brewed coffee and served with ice.
Such a drink has been enjoyed for centuries, first concocted in 1840 in Algeria, known as Mazagran. Traditionally prepared for taste, every barista tinkers with the proportions.
This iced coffee style favors intensely brewed joe and comes together with two parts coffee and one part lemon juice, vigorously stirred with sugar to dissolve.
