A Quick Vinegar Steam Is The Easy Way To Break Down Oven Grease
BY CATHERINE NYORANI
Oven cleaning can be a serious drag because of stubborn grease and burnt-on food, but it can be made much easier with the vinegar steam cleaning method.
Vinegar, with its acidity that breaks down grease and antimicrobial properties, is a potent, non-toxic cleaner. To start, clear crumbs from your oven and take out the oven racks.
In an oven-safe container, create a one-to-one mixture of water and vinegar and preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Bring the container's liquid to a boil in the oven once it's hot.
Leave the oven door closed for 30 minutes to create steam and let it permeate the whole often. This will soften and break down grease and food residue.
