A Pancake Breakfast Is Made Quick And Simple Using Ice Cube Trays
BY MICHELLE WELSCH
Ice cube trays can help you effortlessly prepare pancakes in advance. All you have to do is freeze individual portions of batter in the tray for later use.
You can even get creative by adding flavors and mix-ins to the cubes. In the morning, get the cubes out of the freezer and add them to a hot skillet to defrost and cook the batter.
Pour prepared pancake batter, whether plain or dressed up with chocolate, fruit, or cinnamon, into your ice cube trays. They can then be frozen and kept for up to 2 months.
When breakfast time arrives, plop a pancake cube into your hot skillet. It will melt and spread out into a somewhat irregular shape, but each pancake will still taste great.
Make sure the underside of each pancake is golden brown before you flip them. With this trick, you'll be well-equipped to make a decadent yet convenient breakfast any time.
