A Corona Sunrise Fuses A Classic Cocktail And Your Favorite Beach Beer In One Drink
BY COURTNEY BRANDT
For a refreshing drink that blends the fanciness of a cocktail with the familiar taste of beer, the Corona Sunrise is the perfect concoction to try.
A Tequila Sunrise is made with tequila, orange juice, and grenadine syrup, and mixing it with the light, crisp taste of Corona beer creates a unique explosion of flavors.
To make a Corona Sunrise, you’ll need 1 ounce of tequila, 2 ounces of orange juice, ½ ounce of grenadine syrup, some lime juice, 1 bottle of Corona Extra, and optional garnishes.
First, pour out (or drink) the beer so the liquid is level with the top of the label. Next, add the tequila, orange juice, grenadine syrup, and finish with a splash of lime juice.
Plug the bottle's lid with your thumb and carefully invert it so the ingredients mix together. Finally, garnish your Corona Sunrise with a citrus wedge and maraschino cherry.
