Tacos are a beloved food that are infinitely customizable for any and all preferences; some tacos contain lamb, others have the common ground beef, and vegan tacos have also become popular. Out of all the toppings you can add to make tacos, cheese is a classic, but you can still get creative with this common addition.
If you're looking for a new, extra-cheesy way to upgrade your taco, consider the cheese crisp, which you can make at home by throwing shredded cheese in a pan and placing a tortilla over half of the cheese once it's nearly melted. Once the cheese browns, the tortilla will have a “cheese skirt” that's like a crunchy, salty, cheesy cracker.
