15 Starbucks Secret Menu Holiday Drinks, Ranked
BY DANI ZOELLER
15. Honey Nut Macchiato
This drink begins as a caramel macchiato but replaces the vanilla syrup with chestnut praline syrup. Get caramel drizzle on top, and add a packet of honey.
While we enjoyed the taste of this one, we thought the simple vanilla syrup did a better job with this drink than the chestnut praline syrup.
14. Cookie Butter Espresso
Order a grande shaken espresso with blonde espresso shots to make this drink. Add a pump of chai, two pumps of brown sugar syrup, and almond milk.
This combination was okay, but it wasn't our favorite flavor combo. We think it would be better made with oat milk, two pumps of chai, and three pumps of brown sugar syrup.
13. Eggnog Latte
The Eggnog Latte used to be a true drink, but nowadays fans have a secret menu version using 2% milk and one pump each of chai, caramel syrup, and cinnamon dolce.
This drink was tasty but lacked the distinct eggnog feel we were looking for. Eggnog has an iconic thick texture that is quite difficult to replicate without actual eggnog.
12. Cold Brew Hot Cocoa
This drink is a cold brew coffee with two pumps of vanilla syrup, four pumps of mocha syrup, a pump of toasted white mocha, and chocolate cream cold foam.
While this wasn't our top choice in terms of cold brew taste, it did resemble hot chocolate. We can see hot chocolate drinkers appreciating this inventive twist.
11. Snowball Frappuccino
To order this drink, start with a White Chocolate Cream Frappuccino, add toffee nut syrup and hazelnut syrup, and top it off with caramel brulée topping.
While we loved the color of this drink and the combination of toffee nut with white chocolate, we felt that other holiday drinks better capture the essence of the season.
