Jessica Battilana Named Senior Editor of Tasting Table

New York, NY (March 15, 2012)--Tasting Table, the country's fastest-growing digital epicurean publication, promotes Jessica Battilana to senior editor. In her new role, Battilana will assist editor in chief Scott Hocker in managing and editing the publication's content across all eight editions.

"With her impeccable eye and big-picture prowess, Jessica is an ideal senior editor," says Hocker." She'll remain based in San Francisco, which will bolster Tasting Table's growing presence on the West Coast."

Battilana joined Tasting Table in January 2011 as San Francisco editor; she previously served as associate food editor of 7x7 Magazine. Her work has also appeared in Martha Stewart Living, the New York Times, Saveur, Sunset and Best Food Writing 2008. She holds a Grande Diplôme from Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne in Burgundy, France, and has previously worked as a cheesemonger, caterer and private chef.

Tasting Table has five city editions--New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and San Francisco--and three national editions: National, Top Shelf and Chefs' Recipes.
