Go on an Adventure at The Grey

The Grey
109 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Savannah, GA 31401

After opening in December 2014, owner John Morisano's intentional restoration of this 1938 Greyhound depot garnered national attention, even earning a short-list nomination from the James Beard Foundation. Longtime Savannahians remember with fondness Café Metropole, which once occupied this space, but its reinvention in both appearance and French-influenced fare by executive chef Mashama Bailey, formerly of New York's Prune, has taken the town by storm. Ease into the bar for a house cocktail, such as the San Pedro, and a lavish charcuterie plate built for two, followed by a platter of succulent oysters. Don't leave without a side of smoked collards.
