It's been said that if you're going to hell, you'll go through Atlanta first—specifically the Hartsfield-Jackson airport. Perhaps if Duane Nutter were a different sort of chef, he'd capitalize on passengers' lowered expectations for food options in the world's busiest airport. Instead, he uses Concourse E as a showcase for some of the South's best ingredients, like Benton's bacon, Springer Mountain Farms chicken and Bourbon Barrel Foods Kentuckyaki sauce, in a menu that's an elegant pas des deux between the region's celebrated restaurants and a chic sushi counter. Nutter calls it "Southernational." Others call it a blessing for jet-setting food lovers.
