S. Wallace Edwards and Sons Surryano Ham

It's true: Pasture-raised Six-Spotted Berkshire hogs make the best cured ham. Edwards's Surryano ham (its name is a nod to European-style Serrano, as well as the company's hometown of Surry, Virginia) melts in your mouth with just the right combination of hickory smoke and marbled meat. Serve the very Virginia delight alongside a platter of homemade pimento cheese, pickled veggies and sweet potato biscuits. Think: Southern charcuterie by way of the Mid-Atlantic state.
