Director of Audience Development

Location: Tasting Table headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, New York, the website and newsletter that shows millions of foodies how to “live deliciously” every day, is looking for a Director of Audience Development.

This role is responsible for growing Tasting Table’s audience of highly-engaged foodies across all of our channels, including our web site, social and email newsletter channels. In this position you will work closely with Tasting Table’s senior management to identify, reach and extend  audiences for both our editorial and branded content. The Director of Audience Development will lead measurement of marketing / audience growth campaigns, proactively explore new amplification channels and act as a growth hacking resource across all teams at Tasting Table.

  • Work with Product and Editorial teams to advise on audience growth goals and KPIs across email, web and social
  • Develop and execute impactful multi-platform marketing solutions to grow Tasting Table’s website traffic and email newsletter subscriber base
  • Conceive of and execute monthly, quarterly and annual cross-channel audience growth campaigns
  • Content Syndication Partnerships: Establish new & managing existing content syndication relationships with 3rd party publishers with the goal of growing unique visits and conversions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve engagement metrics, on site and on social. Key KPIs are page views, conversions to email & social shares.
  • Draw actionable insights from data in Google Analytics to iterate and improve performance of all strategies and campaigns. Be able to optimize content mix by channel and A/B test various strategies to grow website uniques.
  • Lead and support research projects and create materials to help internal teams better understand audience trends and Paid Post performance on a regular basis
  • Oversee execution and performance of third party traffic driving programs
  • Manage paid marketing initiatives as prioritized by the business
  • Monitor competitive landscape; maintain awareness of new digital marketing marketing techniques being used by others, as well as look for opportunities to innovate and develop completely new techniques to drive TT’s audience growth goals

Digital Campaign Manager

Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, NY

Tasting Table is looking for a Digital Campaign Manager to join our ops team reporting into the Managing Director of Operations.

The Campaign Manager’s role is crucial to the success of online campaigns from initial implementation to final delivery; ensuring that assigned campaigns reach optimum performance, and exceed client expectations.

This is an integral position within a fast-paced business. The position requires an analytical and logical thinker with the conviction to meet problems head-on and solve them accurately and quickly. The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, infectiously enthusiastic, resilient, flexible and has the ability to communicate clearly as well as effectively. 


  • Collect ad tags and creative assets from client, and oversee the timely launch of ad campaigns providing screenshots upon launch, optimization recommendations and reporting  
  • Participate in client campaign kick-off calls to outline and manage asset delivery timelines, provide specs, and detail our performance tracking methodology
  • Collaborate with the trafficking team to reserve ad inventory, as well as manage the implementation of ad tags for the tracking and measurement of assigned digital campaigns
  • Manage the execution of digital campaigns with varying tactics such as e-mail marketing, pre-roll video, rotational media and audience extension
  • Monitor and optimize ad campaigns to ensure that they are launching and delivering on schedule

Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, New York

Tasting Table has an immediate opening for an experienced graphic designer to work in our New York office. This role is responsible for delivering innovative, original and creative visual solutions for TT Editorial, Content Studio, Marketing/Sales, Brand Experiences and Product teams. This is a role for a designer who wants to create best-in-class art across a wide variety of mediums and projects and works well under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will understand TT's premium brand vision, be an expert in digital and mobile-centric design and continually come up with new ways to improve our creative.


  • Create lush, original and best-in-class visual solutions across all of Tasting Table's departments
  • Concept, design and execute infographics, illustrations, video art, co-branded landing web pages, custom web pages and microsite user flows + mockups, storyboards, custom suites of ad units, new article and email templates, typography treatments, event collateral, visual displays, etc.
  • Collaborate with Editorial, Marketing, Content Studio, Product, Brand Experiences and Audience Development teams to create art that reflects the desired aesthetic, specs and requirements of the projects

Tasting Table has an immediate opening for a dynamic, whip-smart, and analytics-savvy Editor at our New York city headquarters. The position will be a vital part the daily bread and butter of our editorial team, working to expand and manage our network of freelance writers. You’ll be responsible for fielding pitches, assigning, editing, and writing national epicurean content that plays in the Tasting Table universe: cooking, dining, drinking, traveling, and entertaining. (As in: all fun stuff.)

The right candidate will have rock-solid writing and editing chops, a strong knowledge of food and cooking, an endless stream of content ideas, a Rolodex of writers, and a deep-rooted knowledge of digital journalism. In addition, you’ll have tremendous interpersonal skills: the ability to manage competing deadlines, projects, and personalities with aplomb and grace is a must. Please note that this role requires food writing and editing experience at a major publication, a mastery of using analytics to optimize editorial content for success on-site, across social platforms, and in newsletters. Digital Analytics Lead

Tasting Table is looking for an energetic new team member to work in our Product Department at our New York City headquarters. The company is laser focused on audience growth and is seeking a data-driven individual to draw actionable insights from web analytics (desktop, mobile, email, social, search) to optimize our online product & content strategy. A strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Excel is mandatory. This role is tasked with helping the company make smart, fast decisions to optimize potential for growth. Understanding of business goals for interpretation & communication of recommendations is key.

The position will work very closely with the following departments: audience development, editorial, marketing, product (including the DINE iOS app) and operations. Data, communication, passion and drive are key characteristics that will help the individual thrive in this environment.

Editorial Intern

Location: Tasting Table Headquarters in Soho, Manhattan, New York

Tasting Table is seeking an editorial intern in New York City. This paid internship will offer opportunities to experience the entire editorial process. The intern will work closely with his or her editor to pitch ideas and contribute to brainstorms, write articles including news and recipes, contribute to social accounts, provide fact-checking support, as well as assistance with research, editorial administrative duties, and possibly assist with photo production.

Potential interns should be willing to commit to coming to the Tasting Table office in Soho at least 15 hours per week (Monday through Friday) for a duration of at least three months. This position requires obsessive attention to detail as well as strong research and writing skills.

The intern should have good knowledge of the web and viral content, the New York City and national food scenes, and a curiosity and passion for all things off-the-beaten path.

Maturity and motivation are musts: Most of the work will be done independently, thus organization and time management skills are essential.

Interested candidates do not need to be students in order to apply, but Tasting Table will work with college students on the process of doing the internship for school credit.
