Bklyn Larder Gelato Now Available Online

Bklyn Larder gelato, straight to your doorstep

Andrew Feinberg and Francine Stephens of New York's beloved Franny's and the restaurant's sister provisions shop, Bklyn Larder, are all about sharing.

The husband-and-wife pair has recently debuted a wonderfully honest and simple Italian cookbook, Franny's: Simple Seasonal Italian ($35), and has also just started to offer nationwide shipping on Bklyn Larder's ultra-premium gelato and sorbetto (order it here).

All of the shop's jewel-toned pints ($110 for a 4-pack; overnight shipping and tax included) are here: The decadent, somehow light and dairy-free chocolate sorbetto, the new nutty sesame gelato, or the all-time top-seller, the praline-swirled almond.

So legendary is this gelato that a pastry chef from Michael White's New York City-based Italian empire once called Feinberg to plead for the compellingly milky fior di latte recipe. Feinberg, ever the gentleman, presented the coveted recipe willingly.

No need for begging now, though: All of the rich, frozen deliciousness is laid out plainly in the cookbook–and, easier still, is available online for hoarding.
