On October 28, Andy Ricker of bicoastal standout Pok Pok visited our Test Kitchen. The evening began with cocktails and passed canapés, followed by a multi-course Northern Thai feast with wine pairings and after-dinner drinks. Between courses, Ricker shared anecdotes behind each dish. J. J. Goode, food writer and co-author of the upcoming Pok Pok: Food and Stories from the Streets, Homes, and Roadside Restaurants of Thailand, conducted a Q&A session at the end of the meal. Guests took home a signed copy of the highly anticipated book.
