On August 28, the Tasting Table Test Kitchen & Dining Room hosted Ashley Christensen, chef and proprietor of four Raleigh-based restaurants, including one of Bon Appetit's "50 Best New Restaurants in America." The accomplished Southern native, praised for her low-pretense, high-flavor cooking, created an unforgettable four course meal for thirty lucky diners. Dishes such as lamb cassoulet with crispy-fried okra showcased Christensen's signature cooking style, deliciously melding French and Southern traditions.
