November 2015 Editor's Note: Celebrate Month

This November, we're going to party like it's 2015

The prolific Eddie Murphy once sang, "My girl wants to party all the time, party all the time, party all the tiiiiiime."

Here at Tasting Table, we may not want to party all the time (or have Rick James on call to produce our next single), but we do want to party a respectable amount, especially as the holidays approach. So we've christened this November Celebrate Month—and we'll be bringing you the recipes, tips and tricks to make every one of your get-togethers, big or small, equal parts memorable and delicious.

A great party starts with the food, so top chefs like John Besh and Marcus Samuelsson will share dishes to serve at your next soiree. We'll also bring you the details—invitations, retro snacks, sparkling wines and party favors—that will take your next party from ordinary to extraordinary. We'll even be bringing you a breakfast-for-dinner menu (starring waffles, another Murphy character favorite) that any last-minute guest will appreciate.

And, of course, we'll be talking turkey, with new-school Thanksgiving recipes to take your family's spread to the next level, including twists on cranberry sauce, stuffing, pie and more.

So queue up those invites, set the table and get ready to Shrek, er, deck the halls. It's time to celebrate.
