This R2-D2 Coffee Press Is Perfect

'Star Wars' fans, your mornings will never be the same

We love Star Wars toys as much as any true fan (especially kitchen gadgets or anything food related, obviously). When Ample Hills, one of our favorite ice cream shops, released pints inspired by The Force Awakens, we couldn't contain our excitement. But when we saw this R2-D2 coffee press, we totally melted.

"For those of us with a bad motivator," as ThinkGeek puts it, the French press couldn't be more perfect. An original product from ThinkGeek, it can hold four cups of coffee and is dishwasher safe, so no danger of it turning into an, ahem, "overweight glob of grease." (That's one of 3-CPO's best insults, for those who didn't catch the reference.) Leave it on the table, and you're officially having breakfast with R2. What more could you want?

As we gear up for the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on December 16 (73 days, but who's counting?), there's sure to be a ton of other Jedi, droid and Force-related products. But will any of them be cuter than this one?

The R2 coffee press will be available for $40 starting in November, but you can preorder it now. If you're on the fence about whether or not you really need this new coffeemaker in your life, we assure you: This is the droid you're looking for.
