FIG (Santa Monica)

It's only 60 minutes long (5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday), but FIG's happy hour doesn't just discount drinks. Instead, nearly everything is 50 percent off, including bottles of wine and almost the entire menu. Wowzers.

The Corner Door/A-Frame/Waterloo & City (Culver City)

Why pick one when three great happy hours are on the same block? Get a shot of whiskey and a Miller High Life ($6) at The Corner Door, then Parmesan- and sour cream-crusted potato skins ($3) and a frosty Hite ($3) at A-Frame. Finish with a chicken pot pie ($7) at Waterloo & City along with their rotating beer of the night ($4). Scarpetta (Beverly Hills)

Birds (Hollywood)
