Top 7 Happy Hour Deals On Drinks And Bar Snacks In Chicago | Tasting Table CHI

The best happy hours in Chicago

The state of Illinois may have instated a Happy Hour Law, but that hasn't stopped these restaurants from offering great food and drink deals to the after-work crowd.

In no particular order, here are seven of our favorite happy hours around Chicago.

? Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba
Snag a seat on the all-season patio and feast on $1 pinxtos and $3 tapas (chorizo-wrapped dates, anyone?), Monday through Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, 10 p.m. to midnight.

? Sunda

Enjoy 50 percent off appetizers and specialty cocktails from 5 to 7 p.m. during the restaurant's Social Hour, every Monday through Friday.

? Taco Joint
The happy hour, Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 4:30  p.m., features any two tacos with a choice of rice and beans, chips and salsa or guac and drink for just $12. The tough part? Choosing between the Steak Michelada with beer-marinated ribeye and the Baja with beer-battered tilapia.

? Sushi Dokku
Need a seafood fix? Restaurant Row's upscale sushi stop serves buck-a-shuck raw oysters and $2 dressed or panko-fried oysters Tuesday through Saturday, 5 to 7 p.m.

? Epic
All lounge menu items–including salt-and-pepper calamari ($7) and mini lobster rolls ($8) with tarragon and orange mayo–are half-priced from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday at this River North hotspot.

? Little Market
Enjoy a little "After Work Delight" in the form of 50-percent-off appetizers from 5 to 7 p.m. on weekdays, as well as other daily deals, like a $10 burger-and-beer special Sunday through Thursday after 8:30 p.m.

? The Florentine
The only thing better than unwinding with an après-work drink? Unwinding with said drink at The Florentine's bar between 4 and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and getting a free pizza. The deal includes options ranging from Diavola pizza with spicy salami to a zucchini flower pie laden with goat cheese.
