Los Angeles, your time has come.
Shake Shack, the hit (OK, let's be real, cult) burger chain from Danny Meyer opens in West Hollywood today with its Shack Sauce, concretes (in Shack speak, that's a frozen custard dessert), crinkle-cut fries and, of course, griddled patties. This has been a long time coming, and there are already plans in the works for a location in Glendale and one Downtown.
In the meantime, brace for lines, and you might want to take an over-under on how long it takes someone to write an official comparison to In-N-Out, which has a location that is all of two miles away.
