Dominique Ansel Burgers In L.A.
You have only one week to hit up to Dom's Burgers
In-N-Out may reign supreme throughout most of Southern California, but not this upcoming week. If you're in L.A., stop by 189 by Dominique Ansel, where the French chef is transforming the restaurant into Dom's Burgers, a pop-up dedicated to the most American meal of all.
Aside from converting the dining room into an indoor park, complete with turf and picnic blankets, Ansel will be serving four types of burgers, from the signature 189 made with ground chuck and short rib, confit tomatoes and smoked, pickled onions to the Hot Fried Chicken DKA, where fried chicken that's smothered in hot sauce finds a home between his signature kouign-amann pastry. And all of that is in addition to homemade ice pops, fresh-baked cookies and a dedicated lemonade stand.
The pop-up takes place Monday through Friday of next week, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
