Oreo Cadbury Creme Eggs Are Happening

Easter will be here soon

There's still snow on the ground where many of us live, but Easter is already on the minds of retailers—and chocolate lovers.

Many of the latter group are lusting after one of Cadbury's newest additions to its egg lineup: a chocolate egg stuffed with Oreo chunks and cream; think a cookies-and-cream Easter egg. There's a catch though; the eggs, which actually debuted quietly last year, are available only in Canada and the UK. (Sad, we know.)

Update: Cadbury will sell a mini version of the eggs in the U.S. starting in the middle of February, People reports.

Over the past couple of years, Oreo has released numerous new flavors, from pumpkin spice to a perhaps misguided Swedish Fish flavor. None have taken off in the same way as the egg or the Milka Oreo candy bar, which came out in November. (Lesson: Oreos play nicely with chocolate and milk, but little else.)Â
