No plans? We've got all the events you need to keep busy from Summer Friday to Sunday afternoon. Venture beyond the walls of your apartment and watch the Yankees play the Mets, beat the heat at a wine festival where the vino never stops flowing and top the weekend off with live music and barbecue in Madison Square Park.
This annual barbecue's lineup includes all-star chefs from Blue Smoke, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Salt Lick BBQ, all gathering at Madison Square Park. Expect beer, music and a selection of saucy goodness from 16 pitmasters from around the country.

Throw it back to high school English with a performance of Othello at Central Park's Delacorte Theater. Grab a sweater and get cozy to watch Shakespeare's greatest tragedy (free of charge) before paying a visit to newly opened Lucky Pickle Dumpling Co. for a towering cup of pickle soft-serve ice cream.
Gear up to watch these rivals play each other at Citi Field as part of this year's Subway Series. (Get there extra early, so you can check out Mikkeller's massive new brewery.)

This wine fest brings you unlimited tastings from Vinho Verde's wineries, plus live music, cocktails, bites from NYC restaurants, a photo booth and lessons from sommeliers.
Party under the stars at this secret Brooklyn event: Guests bring their own picnics and set up at the tables and chairs provided, with the actual location being kept a secret until the day of the event.
Reserve a seat at the oldest of the Triple Crown events, place your bets on a winner, and then stop by the Coors Light Food Truck Village for everything from Korean bulgogi burritos to piping hot empanadas.

MeMe's Diner in Prospect Park is paying tribute to the old-school soda fountains of NYC's past: For one day only, it's putting a modern spin on classic drinks, like a hazelnut milk punch, a peanut milk soft-serve milkshake and a sundae with sweetened condensed coconut milk sauce.
On June 10th, we’ll be hosting The Elmhurst Creamery at MeMe’s, a brunch & ice cream social with a menu we’ve dreamed up that features Elmhurst Milked’s plant-based milks. This right here is a peanut milk soft serve sundae topped with salted chocolate sauce, candied chilis, & cocoa nib brittle. Find out more on @grubstreet. @lizclayman for Grub Street
