Ina Garten's New Show Premieres Sunday May 28

The wait is finally over, as the premiere of Ina Garten's new show, Cook like a Pro, is set to air this Memorial Day weekend.

For the past 24 seasons, Barefoot Contessa has focused on hosting dinner parties, cooking in the Hamptons and spending nights with Jeffrey, but this new series will be like nothing fans have ever seen before. "My shows have always been about entertaining and friends coming over and toodling around East Hampton, and I really wanted to shake it up a little bit." Garten tells People. However, you can still expect to see plenty of special guests including José Andrés, Mario Batali, April Bloomfield and Yotam Ottolenghi.

Garten is also taking questions she receives from fans and incorporating them into some of her episodes. "People email me the craziest questions all the time," she mentions to People. "So I thought, 'Why don't I answer these on the show?'"

As always, Garten wants to provide as many tips and tricks as possible to make her loving fans the best home cooks and bakers they can be. She says, "I really wanted to do all those little things I've learned professionally over the years that will make people feel like they can cook with confidence. It's recipe-based but it's really much more about the tips, which are woven throughout the episode."
