We're pretty obsessed with This Thing Now. Here's how to get it into your life.

My Google search history on Saturday night: "How to make bacon-roasted vegetables," followed by "How to clean bacon grease off an iPad." These days we're more and more likely to look up recipes on our digital devices, and, unfortunately, delicate electronics don't always play nice with all that flour and butter in the kitchen.

This slim beechwood stand ($30) from London-based designer Sebastian Conran keeps your recipes out of the mess and easy to read. Bonus points for the common conversions printed right onto the stand, so you don't need to open a new browser window just to figure out what a milliliter is. For all you lovers of analogue: Don't fret, it supports real cookbooks, too (though if you're anything like me, you kind of like the stains on those).
