Don't sweat over this strawberry-topped, Oreo-crusted dessert

Besides strawberries and chocolate being an incomparable combination, there's no better way to show off the berries than by thinly slicing them and fanning them out to create a pretty swirling pattern on top of dark rich chocolate.

In a food processor, combine 1 package of Oreos with 2 sticks of melted, unsalted butter and a ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt. Pulse until the cookies are completely crushed and all is incorporated. The mixture will be very wet and soft.

Press the mixture evenly into a tart pan with a removable bottom. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes

While the crust is chilling, bring 8 ounces of heavy cream to a simmer. Pour 12 ounces of semisweet chocolate chips into a bowl and add in the cream, letting sit for 1 minute. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt. Mix until a smooth sauce forms.

Remove the crust from the freezer and pour the chocolate ganache into its bottom. Spread it out evenly.

Top the ganache with approximately 1 quart of thinly sliced strawberries.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight. Garnish with powdered sugar and serve.
