Icing Capades

Use a toothpick to get fancy with your cookie decorating

The dough is chilling, the cookie cutters are out, you are up to your elbows in different-colored icing . . . it must be the holidays.

This year, instead of falling back on the usual ice-and-sprinkle method for our cookies, we busted out a toothpick and got all fancy. After coating them in a base layer of icing, we drizzled another color on top and then went to town, drawing whatever felt right.

Then we used the power of video editing to make them dance around for your amusement. Watch the video and then have some fun with your food.
