Kellogg's Recalls Whole-Grain Eggo Waffles

Leggo of those Eggos

Kellogg's announced yesterday that it's recalling 10,000 cases of Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles in 25 states after a routine check found that they could be contaminated with listeria. So far, no one has reported becoming sick from the waffles, but the company has asked consumers to throw away the products, which are marked "best if used by" November 21 and November 22, 2017, and contact the company for a refund.

This isn't the first time Kellogg's has recalled Eggo products, CNN reports. In 2009, evidence of listeria was found at an Eggo plant in Atlanta, and in 2010, the FDA criticized the company for its safety standards.

Consumers with recalled boxes can contact the company at 1-800-962-1413 or online.
