How To Make A Rye Fizz | Tasting Table Recipe

Turning a summer cocktail into a fall classic

It's Spirits Month! Get in on all the booze-filled fun.

Traditionally, a fizz is thought of as a summer cocktail; it's light, refreshing and often gin-based.

To transition the drink into a cold-weather cocktail, we opted for the robust density of rye, sweetened with a touch of woodsy maple syrup. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice brightened the flavor, while the addition of egg white created a luscious texture reminiscent of a milkshake. A few grates of a cinnamon stick tops it all off.
