How To Make A Rum And Ginger Beer Cocktail | Tasting Table Recipe

A zingy cocktail to drink right now

It's Spirits Month! Get in on all the booze-filled fun.

Brown-liquor cocktails. Fresh apple cider in every market.

To us, these are the indications that fall is underway, and this cocktail celebrates both in all their glory.

We find that a rich, dark rum is the perfect match for crisp cider. Fresh lemon juice and orange bitters punch up the flavor, while amaro, that classic Italian aperitif, cuts the sweetness, leaving a spicy and slightly bitter flavor in its place. Topping it off with ginger beer adds just the right amount of spice for a cocktail that embodies the season.
