Melbourne chef Matt Wilkinson showed leafy greens some love in his IACP Award-winning book, Mr. Wilkinson's Vegetables, and now he's turning his greenmarket sensibilities on the simple salad for his second cookbook. Just like with the last one, there are beautiful vintage illustrations by well-known Melbourne artist Miso. Wilkinson plays with texture and the season's bounty, tossing watermelon in a shrimpy vinaigrette in summer and twirling wintry noodle salads.
