  • Olivia is a lifelong baker who loves any excuse to whip up a batch of cookies or decorate a cake. Recently (and reluctantly), she has shifted to gluten-free recipes.
  • She has worked in a dozen different food and drink establishments, ranging from bagel shops to wineries, and has loved (almost) every minute of it.
  • Growing up in a family that gathered often and never without food, Olivia loves to throw dinner parties. Around the table with loved ones is, invariably, her favorite place to be.


In college, Olivia majored in English while working for the school's radio station and newspaper. She has experience covering international breaking news, and also briefly worked in clean energy research. Most recently, she was a general assignment reporter at Forbes, where she covered young founders in science, social impact, and media.


Olivia majored in English at California Polytechnic State University.
