A Lavish, Multi-Million Dollar Steakhouse Is Coming To Las Vegas

Las Vegas may be known as the entertainment capital of the world, but the city's food scene is just as renowned. Sin City is home to every unique dining concept you can think of, from a Taco Bell that doubles as a wedding chapel to a restaurant where you eat in complete darkness. If you'd much rather treat yourself to a five-star dining experience or a meal at your favorite celebrity chef's restaurant, there are plenty of other options on the Strip too.

The latest of these is Ocean Prime, a $20 million dollar steakhouse that's scheduled to open in spring 2023 (via Eater). According to the restaurant's website, it already has 17 other locations in major U.S. cities nationwide, with the Las Vegas one being the 18th. As stated in the press release, the over 14,500 square-foot upscale restaurant will be located in the heart of the Strip, on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue, between the Cosmopolitan and Aria hotels.

Las Vegas's new steakhouse is about more than just food

If you're able to snag a reservation at Ocean Prime come spring 2023, you'll be treated to a feast of premium surf and turf. In addition to all the steakhouse classics, Eater reveals that Ocean Prime's Las Vegas menu will feature a smoking shellfish tower, sea scallops with parmesan risotto, a signature "Berries and Bubbles" cocktail, and a 10-layer carrot cake. Judging by the video published on the Ocean Prime Instagram, the Las Vegas restaurant will also be serving up an array of sushi options.

Ocean Prime's food, however, is only part of the experience, the press release shares. The restaurant interior is designed to make guests feel as though they are not only in Las Vegas but also at a resort by the sea. Ocean Prime sits on the top level of a four-story retail and hospitality complex, and when it opens, it'll feature views of the strip throughout the restaurant. If eating dinner with a view is what you're craving, this Las Vegas steakhouse will certainly deliver.
