1 lime wedge, for rimming, plus 1⁄2 ounce fresh lime juice
Tajin fruit seasoning (available at Mexican markets) for rimming Ice
1 1⁄2 ounces reposado tequila
1⁄2 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
1⁄2 ounce simple syrup
1 ounce tamarind syrup
Directions
Wet the rim of a rocks glass with the lime wedge and coat it with the Tajin fruit seasoning. Fill the glass with ice.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, simple syrup and tamarind syrup and shake well. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and serve.
