Ingredients
Eight ΒΌ-inch-thick cucumber rounds
2 sprigs fresh parsley
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 sprigs fresh sage
2 sprigs fresh thyme
8 ounces IPA-style beer (preferably Rhizing Bines, an imperial IPA from Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada)
8 ounces lemon soda (preferably San Pellegrino Limonata)
Directions
To a 2-cup French coffee press, alternate adding the cucumber rounds with 1 herb sprig until all the cucumber rounds and herbs are layered.
Pour the beer and the lemon soda over the cucumber and herbs, set the plunger on top and steep for 5 minutes. Plunge and compress the cucumber and herbs, then pour the infused cocktail into a beer glass. Serve immediately.
