Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
  • Mini marshmallows, for garnish
  • 1½ cups vanilla ice cream
  • 6 tablespoons whole milk
  • ¼ cup pumpkin purée
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • 1 slice pumpkin pie, for garnish
  • 1 maraschino cherry, for garnish
Directions
  1. Make the cream cheese frosting: In a small bowl, whisk together the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Frost a ½-inch section on the rim of your glass by rolling it in the frosting. Press the marshmallows against the frosting to stick, coating the rim. Set aside. Vanilla frosting can also be substituted for cream cheese frosting.
  2. Make the milkshake: In a blender, combine the ice cream, milk, pumpkin purée and pumpkin spice, then blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into the prepared glass and top with whipped cream. Prop a slice of pumpkin pie on the rim, then garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve.
