Cheesy Funeral Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
One can of cream of chicken soup
2 cups of sour cream
10 tablespoons of butter melted, divided
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 ½ pounds of potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks or frozen hash browns, thawed
2 ½ cups of grated cheddar cheese
1 pinch of pepper
1 pinch of salt
2 cups of corn flakes
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl, mix together the chicken soup, sour cream, 6 tablespoons of melted butter, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Add the potatoes and the grated cheese. Mix well together, then place the mixture in a baking dish.
Place corn flakes in a large freezer bag. With a rolling pin, smash the corn flakes into small pieces.
Put the smashed corn flakes into a bowl, then mix with 4 tablespoons of melted butter. Spoon this mixture on top of the potatoes in the baking dish.
Put the baking dish in the oven, uncovered, and bake for 40 minutes.
