Creamy Avocado Hummus Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lime
  • 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained
  • ½ jalapeño, diced
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup cilantro + more for garnish
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon Aleppo pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Directions
  1. Zest the lime.
  2. Juice the lime.
  3. Add the lime juice, lime zest, chickpeas, jalapeño, and tahini to a food processor.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Add the Greek yogurt, cilantro, garlic, avocados, cumin, Aleppo pepper, salt, and smoked paprika to the food processor.
  6. Blend, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  7. With the processor running add 1-2 ice cubes and blend until creamy.
  8. Add cilantro as additional garnish before serving.
