Chai Matcha Latte Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 chai teabag
  • 1 cup milk of your preference
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • ΒΌ cup 160 F water
Directions
  1. Add the chai teabag and milk to a small pan.
  2. Gently simmer the mixture on the hob for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Discard the teabag and stir the maple syrup into the chai latte.
  4. Add the matcha powder and the water to a small bowl, and whisk the matcha powder in a "Z" pattern with a matcha whisk or milk frother until well combined and frothy.
  5. Pour the chai into a glass or mug and top with the matcha.
  6. Serve hot.
