- 1 chai teabag
- 1 cup milk of your preference
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- ΒΌ cup 160 F water
- Add the chai teabag and milk to a small pan.
- Gently simmer the mixture on the hob for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Discard the teabag and stir the maple syrup into the chai latte.
- Add the matcha powder and the water to a small bowl, and whisk the matcha powder in a "Z" pattern with a matcha whisk or milk frother until well combined and frothy.
- Pour the chai into a glass or mug and top with the matcha.
- Serve hot.
