Ingredients
  • 1 vanilla bean, split
  • 5 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 6 tablespoons vanilla cake mix
Directions
  1. Scrape out the vanilla pod and seeds.
  2. In a microwave-safe mug, add the vanilla pod and seeds to the cream.
  3. Heat the cream with the vanilla bean pod in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  4. Let steep for 2 minutes, then remove the pod but leave the seeds.
  5. Add the cake mix to the infused cream, and whisk until smooth.
  6. Microwave for 75-90 seconds at full power.
  7. Top with any desired toppings, such as whipped cream and sprinkles, or enjoy as is.
