Everything Bagel Cream Cheese Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 green onions, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chives, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • ½ tablespoon flaky sea salt
  • 2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 egg, beaten
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  3. In a food processor, blend the cream cheese, green onions, dill, chives, black pepper, and garlic powder until uniform.
  4. Refrigerate until firm enough to handle.
  5. Mix the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, onion, and salt in small bowl.
  6. Separate each can of Pillsbury dough into 6 individual parts.
  7. Roll out each part into a 3-inch disc.
  8. Place 2 teaspoons of cream cheese mixture in the center of each disc.
  9. Fold the dough over the filling, pinch the edges to seal, and shape into a ball.
  10. Arrange the buns on the baking sheet with 1 inch between them.
  11. To make the egg wash, whisk together the egg with a touch of water.
  12. Brush the rolls with the beaten egg.
  13. Coat them generously with the everything bagel mixture.
  14. Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown, rotating the pan halfway through baking.
  15. Serve warm.
