Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons Mexican oregano
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne powder
  • ½ Spanish onion, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
Directions
  1. Slice the chicken breasts into 1-inch strips and place them in a bowl.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil and all of the seasonings to the chicken. Toss well to combine.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400 F.
  4. Arrange the onion slices in an air fryer basket or rack.
  5. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer on top of the onions.
  6. Arrange the bell peppers on a second rack or basket. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
  7. Air fry for 15 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the chicken is lightly charred and fully cooked through and the vegetables are soft.
  8. Serve, on tortillas, if desired.
