Raspberry Vanilla Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 4 cups frozen raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons vodka
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  3. Add raspberries to a food processor and blend until crumbly.
  4. Add the vanilla extract, vodka, and half the simple syrup to the food processor.
  5. Blend again until smooth. If the mixture is still crumbly, slowly add in the remaining simple syrup until smooth and creamy.
  6. Freeze for 2 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
