Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe Sliders Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 12 brioche slider rolls, split
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 large roasted red pepper, sliced
  • ¼ pound sliced American cheese
Directions
  1. Add ground beef, seasoned salt, and black pepper to a large saute pan and cook until browned, about 10 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and drain off excess beef fat, if needed. Set aside.
  3. Spread the inside of each roll with butter and brown in a separate large skillet, cut side-down.
  4. Pushing the beef to one side of the pan, add onions and roasted peppers to the free side of the pan and cook until softened, 2-3 minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat and top beef mixture with American cheese slices. Let sit until cheese is melted.
  6. Place the roll bottoms onto a serving platter and top with the cheesesteak mixture.
  7. Place the roll tops over the cheesesteak mixture.
  8. Serve sliders right away with chipotle sauce, if desired.
