Creamy Potato and Pea Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 leek, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup white wine
4 cups broth
4 cups chopped yellow potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 ½ cups frozen peas
½ cup cream
1 tablespoon soy sauce
¼ cup chopped fresh dill
Directions
Add the olive oil to a soup pot and bring the heat to medium-high.
Once the pot is hot, add the leeks and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the wine and cook for 3 minutes.
Add the broth, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to medium and cook for 25 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Remove the pot from the heat and mash some of the potatoes to thicken the soup.
Add the peas, cream, and soy sauce, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Top with fresh dill and serve.
