Instant Pot Gigi Hadid Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small clove of garlic, diced
  • 1 green onion, diced
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon vodka (can be omitted if necessary)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 ounces small shells pasta (can also use penne or rigatoni)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 8 fresh basil leaves, chopped, divided
Directions
  1. Add oil, garlic, green onion, tomato paste, vodka, red pepper flakes, and pasta to the Instant Pot. Stir the ingredients until they are well combined before adding water.
  2. Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 5 minutes by selecting the "High Pressure" setting and pressing the Pressure Cook button. The Instant Pot will take roughly 10 minutes to preheat and reach the desired pressure before cooking begins.
  3. Once the cooking time is up, quickly release the pressure by moving the pressure release handle to "Venting."
  4. Add the cream, parmesan cheese, four basil leaves, salt, and pepper to the Instant Pot and stir the ingredients until they form a creamy sauce, thickening even more as it cools. Top with the rest of the basil leaves.
  5. Leftover pasta can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days.
