Ingredients
  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 small Thai chiles, finely chopped, seeds removed
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine the sirloin, honey, pepper, olive oil, chiles, and soy sauce. Marinate for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  2. When ready to cook, heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the sirloin tips and sear on all sides until deeply browned, about 5 to 6 minutes. Discard any remaining marinade.
  3. Turn the heat down to medium low and add the garlic and butter. Cook until butter is melted, stirring to combine with the beef. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the butter is thickened.
  4. Serve immediately as appetizers or over potatoes.
