Ingredients
  • 4 filets of salmon
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Soak the cedar planks in water for 15 minutes to 1 hour. Once soaked, place them on a sheet pan.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the bourbon, brown sugar, cayenne, salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil.
  3. Place the salmon filets on cedar planks, ensuring each filet is fully on the plank. Brush the bourbon sauce generously on the tops of each filet. Place the sliced oranges on salmon.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon is flaky. Halfway through the cook time, you can brush the salmon with more glaze. Remove from the oven, and serve.
