Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
Directions
  1. Rub the oil all over the salmon pieces.
  2. To make the Cajun seasoning, mix the cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic granules, cumin, dried oregano, dried thyme, and sea salt together in a small bowl.
  3. Pat each piece of salmon dry with paper towels, then sprinkle with the seasoning on all sides of the salmon. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat your gas grill, or grill pan, to medium heat.
  5. Place salmon on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes per side (maybe a few more minutes, depending on the thickness of your fish). Watch the salmon carefully, so it doesn't burn.
  6. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork. Optionally squeeze some lemon juice over the salmon before serving.
